Here’s how to do it:
- First, create a Google Drive folder where you will store the images you want to use in your Instagram story.
- Next, go to the IFTTT website and create an account (if you don’t already have one).
- Once you’re logged in, click on “My Recipes” in the top menu and then click on “Create a Recipe.”
- In the “If This” section, select “Google Drive” as the trigger service and choose the “New file in folder” trigger. Then, select the folder you created in step 1 as the folder you want to monitor.
- In the “Then That” section, select “Instagram” as the action service and choose the “Create a photo” action.
- In the next step, you can customize the photo and caption that will be used in the Instagram story. You can use variables like {{FileUrl}} to insert the URL of the image that was added to the Google Drive folder.
- Finally, give your recipe a name and click on “Create Recipe” to save it.
From now on, any time a new image is added to the Google Drive folder, IFTTT will automatically create an Instagram story using that image. Note that you will need to connect your Instagram account to IFTTT in order for this to work.
